Overview

Insights are a valuable tool for creating productive business conversations, turning complex data into clear, powerful actions that improve franchisee performance. They:

  • Highlight key trends and uncover performance gaps

  • Streamline communication between franchisees and business coaches

  • Ensure every decision is grounded in real data—never guesswork

  • Enable real‑time guidance from corporate teams and coaches, reducing time to action

By leveraging these insights, you’ll drive meaningful improvements and seize opportunities across your business.

How To Create An Insight

From the Left-Hand Menu you will select that caret arrow next to Insights.

Select Insights.

The Insight Home Page will open.

Insights - Views

You have the ability to view your insights based off multiple 'views' - All, Web Visitors, Leads, Revenue and Archived.

To create your first insight select the blue + Create Insight button.

On the next page fill in the available fields to create your Insight.

The Insight - Type by default is set to Coaching Insight. At this time this is the only option.

Use the caret arrow to select your Topic from the drop down menu - Web Visitors, Leads, Revenue.

Enter a Subject for your Insight.

Add Content, the main body of text for your insight.

To attach any data to your insight select Attach Data.

Choose the data you wish to upload. Keep in mind the file restrictions.

Select Attach.

Once you have attached your data and entered information into all fields you are ready to select Create Insight.

If you need to start over or no longer with to create your insight hit Cancel.

If you navigate back to the Insights Home Page you will see your newly created insight under All as well as the Topic you view you assigned to it.

Next Steps - You've Created an Insight

Once your insight is created you will see the screen below.

On the View Insight page you'll be able to see the following information and complete a few different tasks.

1: The users viewing the insight.

2: The Insight Type.

3: The Insight Topic.

4: The Insight Subject.

5: The Insight Content

6: The Insight Creator

7: The Insight Location.

8: When the Insight was created.

Further down the page you can Chat about this insight. Type your message in the text box and use the blue arrow to submit your message.

Once you have submitted your message it will appear in the Insight message feed.

When Should I Use an Insight?

You're a Home Services Franchise and some of your franchisees label all jobs as "General Service" instead of categorizing them properly (e.g., "Repairs", Installations", "Maintenance").

Issue: Corporate is prevented from identifying which services generate the most revenue and where to focus training or marketing efforts.

Our Solution: USE AN INSIGHT! An insight can highlight miscategorized work orders and prompt corrections.

You're a QSR Franchise and some of your franchisees manually input cash transactions instead of using the POS system, leading to discrepancies in reported revenue.

Issue: Corporate can't accurately track sales performance or ensure proper royalty payments.

Our Solution: USE AN INSIGHT! An insight can flag inconsistencies and remind franchisees to use the correct reporting methods.

You're a Health Wellness Franchise and one of your franchisees isn’t offering a product line or service that’s driving strong revenue at other locations.

Issue: This limits their revenue potential and makes it harder for corporate to roll out system-wide promotions or innovations based on performance data

Our Solution: USE AN INSIGHT! An insight can flag the missing item and show how much revenue it’s generating at similar locations, encouraging the franchisee to add it to their offering.

You're a Home Services Franchise and one of your locations has a much lower closing ratio than others in the system.

Issue: The franchisee may be losing potential revenue due to inconsistent follow-up or sales process gaps, and they may not even realize it.

Our Solution: USE AN INSIGHT! An insight can compare their close rate to the system average and recommend reviewing lead response time or script adherence to boost conversions.

Congratulations!

Now that you’ve got a solid understanding of Insights—why they matter, how to create them, and the different ways they can help—it’s time to put them to work. The real magic of Insights is in how:

  • They turn overwhelming data into clear, actionable steps that actually make a difference.

  • They create a shared language around performance, making it easier to identify challenges, celebrate wins, and collaborate on solutions in real time.

When everyone is aligned and working from the same data, the entire system operates more smoothly.
