What is a FIT score?

Developed in partnership with your franchisor, the FIT Score is an aggregation of your business's leading indicators of success that communicates the health of a franchise in a single, easy-to-understand number.

How is my FIT Score calculated?

Our proprietary algorithm takes in the FIT Metrics, which have been identified as leading indicators of franchise success, and outputs a single comprehensive score that represents the overall franchise health.

What are my FIT Metrics (KPIs)?

FIT Metrics are the 4 to 12 key metrics that have been identified by your franchisor as the leading business KPIs that drive performance for your franchise network.

Where is Transitiv getting the data to calculate my FIT Score?

Data is ingested from a variety of both internal and external data sources related to business, operational, sales, and marketing data.

  1. Internal Data Source Examples:

    1. CRMs

    2. Point-of-sale

    3. Databases

  2. External Data Source Examples:

    1. Google Ads

    2. Salesforce

    3. Quickbooks Online

    4. Google Analytics

What if my score and data don’t look right to me?

What if my data isn't matching up with Google Analytics?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of Google Analytics, the data displayed in the Transitiv platform will never perfectly match what one sees in the Google Analytics dashboard. In order to associate traffic with a particular user, Google Analytics associates a unique identifier with each user and sends this with each hit. This identifier is usually a single, first-party cookie named _ga that stores a Google Analytics client ID.

This will help distinguish the person as a “new user”. Google Analytics reports user count as a sum of unique users that visit your site within a time frame, without accounting for the multiple sessions a user may have during that time period. For example, if a user visited your site every day within a week period, they would still only be included as 1 user in the Google Analytics dashboard versus 7 users. Transitiv is unable to make that sort of discrepancy given the need for additional dimensions (i.e. page path) that help us to attribute the data to the correct franchisee. The user count you see in Transitiv is a count of all users who have visited within the timer period, regardless if it's the same user visiting multiple times.

How do I compare to the entire franchise network and to other franchisees like me?

In order to see how you compare to the rest of your franchise network, navigate to the Leaderboard page within the Transitiv dashboard. On this page, you'll see where you rank within the network on certain metrics as well as how the top 10 franchisees for that metric perform.

How much of my data can other locations in the network see?

Leaderboards

Leaderboards will only show who the Top 10 franchisees are for a specific metric. If you are not in the Top 10 for that metric, your data will not be displayed to other franchisees.

Dashboard

The dashboard screens only display data for your individual franchise. If you are comparing to other location's you will only see an anonymized and aggregated view of the other location's data.

How can I improve my FIT Score?

Your FIT Score is calculated based on your performance across the FIT Metrics over the last 30 days. Each FIT Metric is assigned a level of impact depending on how influential that metric is on your business's overall success. The higher the metric impact, the more weight it has in on your FIT Score calculation and therefore the more impact it has on your final FIT Score. Thus, focusing on improving your performance across your FIT Metrics, especially those with a high impact, will help raise your FIT Score.

What is the FIT Weekly Report Card?

Franchisees will receive a FIT Weekly Report Card via email from Transitiv on a weekly basis. This report card is a snapshot of the Franchisee Home Screen and contains your current FIT Score as well as performance across your FIT Metrics over time.

Can I add other users to my Franchisee FIT Account?

Yes, you can add as many users as you would like to your FIT account. In order to add a user, please email success@transitiv.io with the following user information:

  1. First Name

  2. Last Name

  3. Email

  4. Phone Number

I own multiple locations, how can I see all of my location's data in one dashboard?

Not at this time, dashboard roll-up support for multi-location franchisees is currently being considered by our Product Team. If you are a multi-location franchisee and would like to see this feature sooner, contact product@transitiv.io.

Can I have my FIT Weekly Report Card sent to other people on my team?

No, currently you cannot add additional users to the email list for your FIT Weekly Report Card. While we work on adding this feature, you can easily share your report card each week by forwarding the email directly from your inbox.

How secure is my data within Transitiv?

All data ingested on your franchise is kept and displayed only through your FIT dashboard. Transitiv will never sell or share your data with any external source for any reason. Connections made into personal external data sources (i.e. Quickbooks, Google Ads, GMB) will only be used for extracting data straight into the Transitiv dashboard for your viewing.
